About Us
Headed by two former senior editors and media industry veterans, Clare O’Donoghue and Greg Gordon, whose extensive experience stretches from print and broadcast news to radio, television, magazines and content creation for all platforms.

CLARE O’DONOGHUE

The former editor of Style, Femina, Top Billing and In Style magazines, she started out covering hard news at SAPA before her career had a softer landing in women’s magazines. When she lived and worked in Australia in the mid-90s she won the Australian Society of Magazine Editors award for a gritty reportage in Murdoch Magazine’s newly-launched marie claire. As Content Director at New Media Publishing, Clare was responsible for devising and launching W magazine for Woolworths, Vodacom's digital publication, Vodacom now! and City Press’s lifestyle publication, i magazine. She was also the content director of City Press’s annual “100 World Class South Africans” special edition. Clare ran New Media’s in-house journalism cadet training courses for several years. She has written books, features and edited material and manuscripts in a freelance capacity for several publishers, companies and organisations.

GREG GORDON

One of South Africa's most experienced business, technology and lifestyle journalists, he has worked for National Geographic, City Press, Business Day newspaper, the Financial Mail, London Financial Times, Mail & Guardian, Daily Maverick and many others. Greg was Tech correspondent at The Sunday Times and Business Times for 25 years and was founding editor of Vodacom's consumer magazine with a print run of 1,2 million. He managed its transition to a pioneering online publication. Greg is managing director of The Media List, South Africa’s premier online editorial contacts database and he consults at senior level to top companies on media strategy and training.He is a director of drone companies Dronepix and Sky Guard and Gordon Creative - an online content agency that produces videos, photography and podcasts from studios in the Cape Winelands.
